Title: Wall of Shame (My journey through ML from over the years)
Post by: DeafEyeJedi on November 20, 2019, 10:10:29 AM
Title says it all. I've dedicated this thread just for me to share what I've been able to accomplish ever since I joined this fine little community fulfilled w grit and love!

Usually I'd add the cameras used, ML specs & settings, post-workflow, etc under descriptions within vimeo's player. If it's not in there, please ask away!  :P

I have seen many of these (memories)

The EOS M 3.3K/3.5K ones - are they shot in anamorphic or can you actually get that much resolution on eos M?

Thank you. I was debating between this or Ektar 100 TWISTED LUT. Maybe I'll add the latter for comparisons.

That was a tricky day to shoot (probably should have shot in Dual-ISO) but didn't have CPL or ND w me. ISO 100 was the safe bet @ F8 or so.

These were always shot in Anamorphic mode from @Danne's builds. I'll be posting some new ones w the Viltox speed booster that I have soon.

I really like your saturation in the 5D3 vids and it's hard for me to appreciate the other model clips (which I do) in the same thread as the 5D3 lol.

1 and 2 are nice and warm without being red. 3 and 5 are solid night/low light clips. 4 is my absolute favorite!

My favorite thing about ML on my 5D2 is that it captures the texture of objects and while all of your 5D3 clips show that, 4 is the best example of it. The 7D is close but not quite.

What a great record of your journey. Some lovely sensitive shooting there. The 5D3 shines! :)

I am so glad to see this footage. It's beautiful.. really it is.. And also, personally, it confirms to me that the mlv footage really looks like film.. or at least that is the feeling i have looking at it
