I'm a new user of Magic Lantern on the 6D and working out how to use raw video. I've been able to record 1280x720 at 30fps consistently and am very happy with the results so far.
I understand that on Liveview I will only end up recording a cropped portion of what I see as indicated by a smaller box in Liveview. I don't have any major issues with this limitation but when I do start recording, this smaller box disappears. Without the box, I don't have any exact method to see exactly how much of the Liveview screen I am capturing.
I have searched on the forums but am having trouble finding a method to include the Liveview box while recording. Anything that would show exactly the portion I am capturing would be perfect .
