Im having a problem with Resolve, it crashes every time I try to open any project. Already reinstalled and no change can anyone help please?
Update your GPU.
Also try running as administrator, worked for me when I had issues starting resolve.
If you make a new project, does it work then?
Any footage in the project being kept on external drive? Hook it up, preferranly hook it up in the same port you used it in the project. Had an issue like that in ver 14.
Maybe you are opening the old postsql from ver 15? Ver 16 has a new postsql that is non-revertable.
Overall i find resolve 16 unstable, I regret that I didn't stay on ver 15. Layer mixer and composite modes are all over the place in ver 16.
Anyways, blackmagic has a dedicated forum for Resolve. Its crowded but you probably will get an answer if you explain your issue in detail, unlike you did here.

Try to set a dedicated graphics card from the PCI slot in the bios.
After installing 16 ver I regularly get the Out Of Memory errors. The 16th ver doesn't choose a dedicated Graphic Card by default, so you should go to properties and set it manually.
