Title: Limiting duration of motion detect video
Post by: phil edwards on April 06, 2019, 12:46:02 PM
I apologise if this question has been asked before. Have searched posts but cannot find the answer. I use ML on several bodies. I have an EOS M set up to record video using a passive infrared sensor to trigger audio remote release through ML. The PIR also switches on LED lights. The system works very well as a wildlife trap video recorder. The PIR triggers the camera to start recording and the lights come on. I would however like to be able to reduce the duration of the video recorded. Currently the camera carries on for around 12 minutes so fills up card. Is it possible to reduce it to around 2-3 minutes. I have searched through the Canon and ML setting but can find no record duration setting. Does anyone know if there is a setting or could it be written into ML.
