I downloaded the latest 4k ML firmware on my 5dIII. When I choose the crop mode UHD 1:1. the priview is broken( as mentioned in the menu). If I start recording without raw file. The mov files are also broken. how can I shoot footage in UHD mode? Anyway to let me see the preview??
If preview is broken, the only way to go is raw recording.
If preview is normal, you can record in standard mov format.
If preview is broken, you probably can see a preview created by magic lantern, by holding the shutter button on half press.( I think that's the default option, otherwise you need to select this in raw video menu).still the only way to record this is in raw format.
