I I'm new .. just put ML on my EOS1100D

Can find the right set of menus / key presses to get to the timelapse function ...

Can anyone help?

And ive read all the docs I can find ...

Trashcan button -> Movie tab -> FPS override

Or if you want to take a serie of photos and turn it into a timelapse on a computer, then use the intervalometer.
