Title: Nature - Birds and Trees in Washington State - 5d mk ii
Post by: Lake Skywatcher on November 28, 2018, 01:08:49 AM
Hello, here's a an 8 minute video I've taken of the birds and nature in Pacific Northwest Washington.

The video clips were filmed in raw on a Canon 5d mk ii with the July 3 build of Magic Lantern. Most were filmed in crop mode, effectively turning an older $40 Tamron 70-300mm lens into ~210-900mm! This is such an awesome feature!!!

The two panoramic time lapse clips at the start and the end were taken with 2 Canon SX230HS cameras running CHDK and blended in After Effects.

Please let me know if you have any questions, comments or feedback. Hope you enjoy!

It looks pretty good.

I don't know why I could not get the latest version of ML working on my 5D2. Could you be possible to share me with all your settings, page by page?

Beautiful shots! Especially getting the Bald Eagle!

Did you use FPS override for the timelapse? OR the intervalvometer?

Were these shots shot in RAW? If so can you describe your post process?
