Based on my research so far I decided to get used 5d2 with magic lantern of course, my main objective is to shoot film, got bunch of fast and some older then me Nikon lenses, got anamorphic adapter and will shoot on streets of New York in the day and at night, but I also love taking pictures, is 5D2 optimal? I can't afford the 5D3...
any suggestions and advice will be greatly appreciated!
the 5DII has become legendary for video, but what people seem to forget is that it was created to be an awesome still camera first. so to answer your question the 5DII is more than optimal for shooting pictures.
