Apologies if this has been answered but I couldn't find it elsewhere - I have an up-to-date build on my 7D mkI but would like to use this same CF card in a brand new 5DmkIV. I do not need ML to operate on the 5D- does anyone know if this wall cause any issues to the 5D mkIV, or will the CF card operate as normal?

You can use an ML card in any cam that hasn't set the boot flag (Part of ML installation procedure).
But if you format an ML card using an non-ML cam card will no longer be bootable, all ML files will be lost (including settings) and you have reinstall ML.
