Title: Canon 100D - Green dots when recording RAW
Post by: Facedetroll on September 10, 2018, 04:56:15 PM
Hello to all of you, I tried for the first time to record RAW with my Canon 100D and I have a problem with the RAW.
I've record this in 10bit with this build "magiclantern-raw_video_10bit_12bit.2018Jan31.100D101.zip"
It makes me green dots on the image and I don't know where it comes from. Do you have any ideas?
I thank you for that.

Those are "focus pixels" --

What app are you using to convert your MLV files? Most of newer apps can automagically remove them.

Hello, I used MLVMystic to transform the MLV file into DNG.

Thank you for you reply.

Use some other tool. Switch, Mlv App, mlvfs and so on...

Also using a 100D. Have tried using much lower resolutions, and all my video comes out with these green dots. Any recommendations on the easiest software to remove them?
