Dear friends,
I would like to install ML for the very first time and would do so on my 5Dmk2 with its 2.1.2 FW.
On the installation guide I read: "Recommended: Restore your camera to default settings (Clear settings, see picture above). Remember this will reset all canon settings and removes custom picture styles!"
Is this absolutely necessary ? I have a lot of customizations (just as one example I do AF start with the back button not the half shutter) some of which I wouldn't even remeber :-)

It should work without resetting. If it doesn't, write down your settings and report a bug.
