Title: A day in Coney Island - 5DmkIII raw 45fps anamorphic
Post by: pakobagur on June 06, 2018, 02:06:29 AM
Hi,
Here's a new video that I've been working on over the last couple of weeks:

Shot handheld in raw, most of it at 1920x1040 45fps, except of a few shots at 3.5K 24fps, and the hyperlapse, that I just shot a bunch of photos.

Canon 5D markIII
Canon EF 40mm f/2.8 STM + SLR Magic Anamorphot-50 1.33x Anamorphic Adapter
Canon EF 24-105mm f/4L IS USM

Any feedback is welcomed.

Curious about the anamorphic setup.
I like the idea of anamorphic, but not sure about focusing 2 lenses, after setting up, can you work with only focussing one lens ?
Is this -> Canon EF 40mm f/2.8 STM + SLR Magic Anamorphot-50 1.33x Anamorphic Adapter -> any pleasure too work with and decent quality ?

Just a crazy idea, but could you use this setup and squeeze the image vertical instead of horizontal  ???
That way you could make 1:1 crop mode 3840 x 1600 -> 3840 x 2128 = 16:9 4K on 5d3   :D
