Title: Skiing in Norway, Alexa Mini
Post by: allemyr on April 01, 2018, 02:18:10 PM
Hello!

Got to test the Arri Alexa Mini during a ski trip to Norway!

Really like the real 4k ARRIRAW recording possibilities! No antialiasing problems or bad noise handling in low light.

A good camera that its a bit pricy but really recommend it, its overall a better image to grade with ARRIRAW, then previous tested ML 5D that I shot with for a while.

Happy shooting!

Quite easy to distinguish the quality of footage from a ML.

Enjoy in real UHD 4k!

Haha, yes it was a try for a April's fool joke  ;D

Have had this 5D3 camera for 4 years, and still so happy with it.

Have learned Davinci Resolve instead of PP on the way with raw. Great software!

Those opening shots!  8)

The video look great! Had me fooled until I read the thread!

Curious to know what your setting in ML were for this, I am struggling with higher resolution settings and with regards to resolve is there a particular course or video you watched to learn?

Thanks
