Title: Audio Input IC on 60D
Post by: lenshead on March 09, 2018, 08:31:13 PM
Hi All,

I'm looking for the number (or the data sheet) of the mic input IC on the 60D. I found it once before on this very forum but can't find it now.

I want to build a pre-amp and these specs would be useful. Specially interested in how much noise the Canon adds to the signal before recording.

All I know is the last time I found it, the post preceded my last query on 2/18/16 about audio levels.

TIA

you could also use "resilio sync" (aka btsync) and sync the key BN5KE7A7OFOJ7LKOJQAUCFS3P5RWD5W5R
(see https://www.magiclantern.fm/forum/index.php?topic=13500.msg130450#msg130450 )

there you can find all known datasheets
