Title: Canon 100D Magic Lantern: Green dots
Post by: The Penguin on February 10, 2018, 02:51:07 PM
Hi,

I am using the newest version (2018-04-02) of Magic Lantern on my Canon 100D and have a problem with the RAW video and silent pictures:
I get strange green dots in the videos and pictures. Does someone know this problem and can help me to solve it?

Please note that it happens only if I do not use the crop mode for videos. With the crop mode the videos are fine (but I do not want to use the crop mode as it zooms to much into the image).

I use MLVViewer to convert the mlv files, but it also happens when I select dng for the silent pictures in the camera.

Try a converter which handles "focus pixels". Plenty to read about issues and solutions at this forum.
