As the title says, I tried to install the latest ML for the 1100D on my 1100D. It's running the right firmware and I double checked everything but when I clicked the firmware version to update it with ML it said that an SD card containing firmware needs to be inserted or something along those lines.
Please help as I'm really into film as well as photography so I need the controls for filming!

Make sure ML-SETUP.FIR is included in your package and copied to card.
If this is not the problem:
Try another card with less capacity. SDHC or - if available - SD (up to 2 GB by specs) should do fine for first time installation. After that you may have to use EOScard (Windows) or Macboot (OS X) to prepare cards for ML.
