Title: Canon PowerShot G7 X Mark II USB microphone adapter
Post by: zoidbioz on November 23, 2017, 08:57:37 PM
Hey there,
I'm new to this site and was hoping to find some answers.
I somehow got addicted to the G7X II (Travelvlogging "jea shame on me") but thats how it is.
I was wondering if there is a way to get a external mic working by using the micro usb input.
I don't know how much effort it takes to configure something like this but I would be very pleased if there is a way to make it work.
Also I don't know if this forum is the right spot to ask for such a cam hack.

If you can help me out just tell me.

Greetings from Germany

I might be wrong... but as far as I know there is a hardware limitation that makes impossible to use the USB port as a HOST.
