Title: What would have caused this?
Post by: crbon on November 21, 2017, 12:41:59 PM
Does anyone have an idea why this is happening to my Canon 60D?

I had ML for over a year, but just recently noticed some of the photos had some horizontal lines through them. I tried updating the firmware to the latest version today (magiclantern-Nightly.2017Oct31.60D111) but it stuffed up the camera.
I wasn't able to stay in the menu or view the LCD display for long, as it would get covered in weird patterns and stop responding.
After some reading up on the forums and playing around, I was able to get the properly uninstall ML and go back to the original firmware (latest version 1.1.1).
The camera would now turn on and stay on properly, but the photos would not save correctly and would look like this below (https://ibb.co/eHzea6).

Any idea on who to fix this? Is it even fixable?

Quoterecently noticed some of the photos had some horizontal lines through them

Are these photos in the above example?

How does a full-res silent picture (captured with ML) look like?

Quoteas it would get covered in weird patterns and stop responding.

How did these patterns look like?
