Cineform goes Open Source!

Well I think that's great news! :) Does that mean that a developer could now build [say] a new colour grading app that leveraged CF's Active Metadata? It would be great to have a modern-coded lightweight [mac] app that replaced the old GoPro Studio Premium (which never got the love it deserved on the mac). Just wondering out loud...  ;D
