Title: Matching the Exported DNG's From MlRawViewer v1.3.3 to import in Premiere Pro
Post by: 3Dto5D on September 19, 2017, 05:10:38 PM
Hi all,

My first ever post here.

My workflow is usually .Mlv files reviewed using MlRawViewer v1.4.3 (Great app) where I like to do basic adjustment work.
I often work with Curve: C-Log then apply 3D LUT: S-Curve S-curve_for_CineStyle.cube (https://www.imageupload.co.uk/images/2017/09/19/Screenshot2017-09-1916.03.16.png)

Question: How do I 'Bake' those settings into Final Export from MlRawViewer using DNG output? Also, How can I match the same look achieved in MlRawViewer within ACR?
Thank you.

If MLRawviewer gets you your desired look, why not export as ProRes and work with that in Premiere? AFAIK that's the only way to "bake in" the look.

I don't think dngs can be "baked" theres no look just raw data. like the other poster said try exporting as prores. or find a way to get the look in acr. i got a look i liked by testing over and over and over.

Thank you. I'll try that out to ProRes.
