I think all of the above. "Download install magic lantern repair tool"? And then it goes on to not mention anything about ML.. Scam, robot and malware in a nice little package.

First time I used Google's feedback option about such scam and ... surprise: Link does not show up in Google anymore (search string: Magic Lantern Canon). I'm sceptical about Google as a company but I have to acknowledge they are running a great search engine.

I found basically an exact copy of that site a while back it just wasn't about ML, something else. They just take a popular search phrase and insert it as the title of that page. It was a different domain, but I found several other domains host the exact same content (with different search terms inserted). Also reported them to google.

I think it's both a scam and desperate marketing. It's been always like that if you are looking for free 8)
