First off, I am new to the ML and just tried to complete the install today. Everything went well, but I soon realized that audio is not supported and I want to revert back to the stock firmware.
This is when I ran into an issue.... After turning off the camera and swapping the compact card, the rear display no longer turns on and I am unable to get it to turn back on. I tried everything to get the rear display back on (formatting new card, using the spare card from another soon, placing ML files back on the card, but it no longer works. The camera turns on and will autofocus, but also no longer takes pictures and there is no shutter sound.
When starting up the camera, normally it runs through a quick 1-2 second shutter clean and this no longer happens also.
Please let me know if anyone had this happen before.

What happens if you start the 50D with no card in it ?
You should still be able to use the screen (menus & live view)
