Title: 14 bits mlv video 1FPS ?
Post by: Jato on March 27, 2017, 03:36:50 PM
Hi! I have not found info about this: would it be possible to record mlv at 1 or 2 FPS ? I think it would be interesting in order to shot timelapse without using the mirror ( 7D) , as a 'false' electronic shooter? Maybe im crazy, but it would be marvellous...

Lowest possible fps: 0.2
Look into FRSP (Full Resolution Silent Pic) as well = Full frame pics without shutter actuation.

thanks Walter! As always.... i asked the question first, then i found the solution :D I discovered that mode just navigatin over the menues and modules, and made some experimentation this afternoon. I discovered too that all pictures (FRSM) were f=1 1s. So now i'm studying Silent Mode more deeply. I think this are  AWESOME news, because i'm looking for a new camera with electronic shutter, and know (maybe) i dont need it :D

Very excited with this module and its potential!

I have some issues:

config:
intervalometer: ON (4s)
silent mode: FRSL, dng
some parameters (f5.6, s1/400...)

results:
all pics f1. 1sec exposure, absolutely over exposed.

the good news:
it takes a FRSL pic every 4 seconds without problem
it saves them in new folder
i can see them with pic viewer

the bad new:
Didnt find the way to stop it :( Had to power off...

A world to discover :)
