Title: 70D dead ?
Post by: bobange on March 09, 2017, 10:06:34 PM
Hi everyone,

I have installed ML on my 70D for one year.

Last week, my 70D displayed an error 80 and I turned off my camera. Since then, the camera won't turn on. I have changed the battery, I have changed the SD card, formatted it and installed autoexec.bin (Display). Nothing happens. There is no red blink when I insert a card, or a battery.

My 70D is three years old and I live in a tropical area.

If anyone could help me ...

Boris

Hi all,

I have exactly the same problem. Also 3/4 years old. Somebody got a solution?

Thanks, Jasper

If you have formatted the card you have to make it bootable again to perform display test. Use EOScard (Windows) or MacBoot (OS X, macOS).
