Has v2.3 discontinued this for the 60D as well? Its no longer working on mine. :(

Also i believe the mode dial remapping was discontinued because it caused issues?

So in v2.3, whats the fastest / other ways to get into Movie mode?

Thanks,
R

The Canon's way  ::)

Movie mode remap was disabled, unless you accept the possiblity of half-bricking the camera every time you use it ..

Argh.  And a big old rat farts.  The only reason I installed Magic Lantern on my 550D was for the 'shortcut' to movie mode.  Having to go all the way from 'M' to 'Movie Mode' (and back) in an underwater housing is painful.

I think 550D/600D was OK... only risk of bricking 60D. I've literally been using it for years now.

DigicV its dangerous because whatever mode you remap will stay movie mode.

It doesn't seem to work with v2.3 and my 550D.  Maybe I am doing it 'wrong'.

While in 'M' manual mode, I press the ISO and then the LV buttons.  The camera goes into LiveView mode, not movie mode.
