First time user;

Should i use the latest nightly builds (Dec. 2016) for first time installation on a canon 5d mark ii (ML, Autoexec.bin, ML-Setup .FIR) or start with the earlier stable build v2.3 then update

to the latest nightly build.

Generally speaking, you install the latest version of any software. The latest versions tend to fix(and sometimes introduce:( ) bugs.

The nightlies are preferred by us regulars. Many more features/fixes and supported by the local wizards.
