Title: 5D Mark III 1.1.3 - Random Audio Dropoffs
Post by: grodriguez on December 11, 2016, 11:27:36 PM
Hey folks, just wanted to see if anyone was having similar problems to mine. I've been recording RAW to Lexar 1066x cards well within the limits of the write speed of both the card and the CF bus on the camera, however it seems that almost at random, ML will not record sound on my clips.

I performed a test today, recording 5 second clips over and over, then converting them with raw2cdng (Windows 10) and uploading to Davinci Resolve, and random clips will not have any audio recorded. Others record just fine. I have the 2.0 RAW module turned on as well as the mlvsound module on and can't figure out what's wrong. If anyone has a solution, please let me know!

I once had a problem that the audio wasn't in sync when the camera stopped automaticaly and raw2cdng which I really like, solved it in version 1.6.1 but not above. So I'am always using that version which is really fast too. Can you try that version and see if it still exists?

Try that otherwise I don't know.
