Using rc2.3 with great success on my 50D but I can not find how to enable or show any focus help, eg green bars or spilt screen.

Could someone point me in te right direction?

Focus confirmation doesn't work on 50D.

Using a 550D.  Displays on the menu show on, ALW, Small, NW, 3:1.  All I get is the square focus box.  Read instructions and nothing seems to work.  No Majic Focus box appears.  Using Liveview, P setting and have tried Movie.  Should I reinstall?

Thanks for the confirmation: I thought the 50D was the 'problem'.

BTW I can confirm (so far) that RC2.3 seems to have eliminated the 'hanging battery' problem on my 50D.

I also religiously follow the 'wait before taking the card out' advice.
