Title: RAW conversion
Post by: abesapien on June 11, 2016, 12:30:47 PM
Hello everybody,

I have doubts about the best way to convert RAW to DNG. I always used RAWmagic but lately I was trying MLVmystic and I end up with a weird problem. I shot a bright neon "garage" sign and if I convert with RAWmagic (or MLviewer by the way) I have of course clipped colors on the sign but no weird artifacts; if I convert with MLVmystic I have ugly pixel artifacts in the overexposed part of the image. I already tried severa settings and/or post production tricks in resolve but nothing changes...

Therefore my question is: on a mac what is the best RAW to DNG converter? Is there maybe a better one for Windows that I should use? Thank you in advance for the help, RAW forever :)
