Title: cr2hdr does not function on Mac OS X 10.11.14
Post by: shaulbarlev1 on June 05, 2016, 07:18:45 AM
Hey fellas,
I searched the forums all night and couldn't find answers...
Whenever I drag a dual-iso .cr2 file onto the cr2hdr window it displays the following:

I installed both dcraw and exiftool using the installer included in the OSX_cr2hdr.zip .
Please help
tnx

Looks like you are using a very old and no longer supported GUI wrapper for cr2hdr. Try using the actual command line version, MLP (http://www.magiclantern.fm/forum/index.php?topic=13512.0), or the lightroom plugin (http://www.magiclantern.fm/forum/index.php?topic=11056.0). These are still being supported.

I really enjoyed this wrapper for cr2hdr... recently updated my mac and ran into this as well...  :-[

is there anything else out there similar as easy as drag and drop? or is the lightroom plugin or switch thing the only way to convert now?

I could probably implement dualiso drag and drop straigh to Switch if it´s useful.

Now possible to simply drag CR2 or DNG dualiso file onto Switch and it will start using cr2hdr right away:
https://bitbucket.org/Dannephoto/switch/commits/20dcc4188cf1b913168279aa08cd3d4f67c554fc

Download:
https://bitbucket.org/Dannephoto/switch/downloads/Switch.dmg

Will work multiprocessing style(4 processes in parallell).
