Title: [INVALID] Canon 1DX Mark II LCD Screen
Post by: clicstudio on May 20, 2016, 04:06:22 PM
Hi, I don't know if it's possible but my new 1DXII has a horrible yellow-green tint on the LCD screen. White balance is off by a lot. Accurate representation of the photo is critical. My old 1DX was off but not by this much. I really can't tell what the photo will look like on the computer.
Please come up with a hack to calibrate the WB of the LCD screen. All monitors, even cheap ones, have a way to calibrate. It's amazing that nobody has done it in the Digital Camera world, specially since you must rely on the screen to work.
Thanx a lot! Patrick

A.  We don't work on pro stuff.  Use search if you want to know why.

B.  Why do guys buy top of the line stuff then ask open source guys for help.  You just spent a truck load of cash on that thing, bug Canon.

C.  I'm not aware of any method of adjusting WB on the display.  It wouldn't be an easy task either.
