Thanks for sharing, did you have any corrupted frames with 39fps? I use 5d3 with 1.1.3, sandisks 128gb 160mb/s and cannot go higher than 37fps with sound off and GD off because i get pink/damaged frames. What settings did you shoot with (beside the resolution)?

I had no corrupt frames or problems shooting 39fps with the Lexar 1066x 128GB (which is to my understanding the fastest compact flash for the 5D3 and can be ordered online thru amazon for about $215CAD). If I set FPS over-ride to 40FPS almost every frame was compromised (pink, weird, black) and recording ended at 10 seconds at which point live-view locked up which was resolved by removing the battery. I shot on 5D3 1.1.3 RAW (no sound). I also used latest crop mode build so I could do a 3x crop shot with the 100mm 2.8 which had no issues. The only issue I experienced was sometimes I get a "busy" sign on the live-view and autofocus won't work (turn off/on camera = resolved).
What ml firmware do you use? "Busy" signal havn,t been a problem for me on later builds. A1ex fixed a lot of stuff lately.
