This is my first post. Been reading a lot about issues with external monitor RAW video recording with 5D Mark3. But most of the posts are at least 1 year or more older. Is there any improvement or latest find that you guys can help me with? Which would be the most practical, issue-less monitor for a no-budget (or little) filmmaker like me?
Thanks in advance!

On a budget? Probably a used Atomos Ninja Blade. The new offering from Black Magic (video assist) doesn't have an audio input, and the 5d can't put audio out over HDMI.
