Title: T5i marks in RAW video
Post by: jayclas on March 01, 2016, 03:55:45 PM
(http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20160301/15b70ff4e76537f8fc20b749fd3b567c.jpg) Hello guys I'm getting marks in my RAW footage and I'm trying to figure out why? I cleaned as much as I can inside of the camera with no luck to remove them!

The marks stay in the same spot on all my RAW footage. Funny thing is, shooting H.264 is totally fine.

Any help on this would be great! Thanks guys!!!

Caused by AF mode introduced with 650D/EOS M. Search for Pink Dot, Pink Dots or Pink Dot/s Removal or just PDR. Or jump to RAW video post-processing forum and lookup latest efforts to bypass this "feature". http://www.magiclantern.fm/forum/index.php?board=54

Looks like you were double and triple posting. Careful, you don't want to get banned.

You can learn more than you ever wanted to know about focus pixels in this topic: Dealing with Focus Pixels in raw video (http://magiclantern.fm/forum/index.php?topic=16054.0)
or you can use MLVFS (http://magiclantern.fm/forum/index.php?topic=13152), MLP (http://magiclantern.fm/forum/index.php?topic=13512) (Mac) or MLV Producer (http://magiclantern.fm/forum/index.php?topic=15271) (Windows) and those programs can take care of the focus pixels.
