Title: 600D Shutter Speed Problem
Post by: craigstubing on July 26, 2012, 03:18:49 AM
Just upgraded to ML2.3 on my T3i/600D and now I can't choose 1/48 shutter speed. Yes, I have Exposure Override on.

It goes from 1/46.9 to 1/50.4. I'm shooting 24fps, so ideally I would like to have a 1/48 shutter, which I used all the time in the last version. Anyone else having problems with this? Has anyone found a solution to it?

Thanks in advance!

Note: Yes, I read this thread (http://www.magiclantern.fm/forum/index.php?topic=1605.0) and still no luck. The user guide doesn't provide any direction on this.

I can only use 1/46.9... I think that is what the camera actually sets so that 1/48 was actually 1/~47

Not sure tho

in movie mode it shows 1/47 for me too.  in manual photo it shows 1/48.  it think it showed 1/46.9 when movie exposure was set to automatic instead of manual after the initial update.

Nope, not using auto except for WB. I don't remember when it changed.

ML computes it with better accuracy now ;)

a1ex, does that means that there is no 1/48 shutter speed in ML?

Yes, and never was.
