Title: Recovering from failed FW update.
Post by: araucaria on January 05, 2016, 03:11:47 PM
A friend updated a 5d mkii with the official update but the battery connector seems to be giving some trouble. The update has frozen and now the camera won't work.
Is there a way to fix this or will he have to send it to canon?

Best Regards ;)

Not that much options left, then.
Is there any sign of life? Remove battery, remove card, insert battery and close compartment doors. LED/Screens showing any activity?
