Title: 760D Shutter - Sensor Activated
Post by: Brillopad on December 02, 2015, 04:19:10 PM
I hope this hasn't been covered elsewhere, but I can't find any reference in the forums (or any reference in Canon's 760D specs): does anyone know if Canon have incorporated the ML feature that allows one to trigger the shutter by either waiving something in front of the sensor below the viewfinder or triggering it by sound?  This is the ML function I use most frequently, and if it's not yet present in the Canon build then I may well hold off upgrading until the day ML is available for the 760D.

Edit: just referred to the User Guide and the feature(s) in question are called "LCDsensor Remote" and "Audio RemoteShot".  I suspect neither is present by default on the 760D, but I'm hoping someone will confirm/deny this.

I would never be so sure like you, that ML will be available for a digic 6 camera.

I'm not so sure, but I'm cautiously optimistic  ;)

Anyway, can anyone who owns a 760D confirm whether or not it offers LCD Sensor Remote with the Canon build?  I realise this is also probably optimistic on my part, but it's possible I might have overlooked something in the Canon specs (or perhaps they just call it something else).
