Series of timelapses over the last 2 years, shot with Canon 6D and 600D both with Magic Lantern :)

Really beautiful! And nice soundtrack too!
How are the lights not completely blown to hell?? I've never tried to do any sky time lapse, but if there is any light any long exposure I've done at night, it blows up

It's all do do with A. Dark Skies and B. exposure :)

For stars you need to gather in more light than say a cityscape, so you need a higher ISO and a wider aerture, and exposure time set so the stars don;t trail, like 20-30 seconds depending on focal length :)
