Title: 5DIII RAW into Premiere and After Effects
Post by: gmfotografie on August 10, 2015, 09:35:02 AM
I have read several posts with different workflows using the RAW Files from a 5dIII... one tells us to use Ginger HDR the other using Resolve and exporting the clips.

Ginger HDR is no more available ;-(

and exporting in Premiere i donĀ“t have any setting to export in RAW or CinemaDNG. Which file format gives me a good (perfect) base for colorgrading and editing it in Premiere and Affter Effects?

Exists a better Workflow with the RAW Files?

THX, Michael

With raw it is better to convert to dng files. On mac you could use cr2hdr-r for both premiere and davinci resolve. Alsocheck mlrawviewer. If working with only mlv files mlvfs is the fastest and smartest way.
On windows I would recommend raw2cdng.
