Title: magic lantern for raspberry pi
Post by: jagnje on July 23, 2015, 03:45:31 PM
so, now you can buy plenty of hdmi-in monitors for the raspberry pi. I think it would be great to be able to create a pi based viewfinder/field monitor with ML functions(peaking, historgram, falce color, etc...) and it would be for just about any dslr out there.

Second that!

With this a shield hdmi adapter you can connect the Raspberry pi, or the direct feed out of the camera to a DSI smart phone panel (iphone 4, LG, Samsung).  Cheap and High quality.  all its missing for the perfect field monitor is the software (ok maybe more then the software but its still sick)
