Title: Replacing firmware ver 1.3.3 back to 1.2.3 Canon 5d MkIII
Post by: cfsphoto on June 17, 2015, 10:36:49 PM
Hi

I am wanting to get ML onto an SD card and my MkIII currently has v1.3.3 running. I have searched high and low for 1.2.3 with no success - can any one help guide me here? Ideally on a Mac although I think the .fir files work from either a PC or Mac. I did successfully install ML on my MII but I am pretty sure its no good for my main end goal...

...The end goal at this stage is to run the MkIII at 60fps so any help on that also much appreciated.

:)

Top of page -> Downloads -> Download nightly builds -> 5D.123 and read instructions.
You need EOS Utility to downgrade.

Download Canon EOS Digital Solution Disk 29.1A from Canon. You need your cam's serial number.
