Title: Exodus Short Film | Shot on 5D3 raw
Post by: h_dwang on June 06, 2015, 08:51:48 PM
Hello everyone! Just finished my senior thesis for my film class at my HS (shot 100% on the 5D3 using ML raw), check it out and let me know what you guys think! Thanks!  :)

Here was my workflow:

Raw Magic -> Davinci Resolve Lite (Hunter's Lut) -> ProRes4444 -> Premiere Pro CS6 (Film Convert added) -> ProRes422 (HQ)

Good work!

I love how warm it's graded. Hot and uncomfortable. It works quite well.

How did you get a helicopter shot at the end?

Looks amazing, I even love how scenes are not color matched (adds to the fantastic film stock feel of the movie). Can you go into detail about your FilmConvert settings?

Great looking video, and entertaining.  Did you use a quadcopter for the final aerial shot?

Thank you guys for the responses! :D

We used a DJI Phantom quad copter for the end scene, and I used Kodak Vision 3 with the film grain setting turned down to 70-80%.
