I am new to ML and followed the steps for installing ML 1.2.3 for Mark 3 and everything seems to work fine, however when I try to upload footage I don't get the raw files everyone seems to get from the tutorials rather just (Unix Executable files) or MLRawViewer Docs that don't want to be converted to CineDNG in RAW MAGIC Lite. Any ideas in what I am doing wrong?
How do you "upload" your files? Using cardreader or are you trying USB transfer?
Please take a snapshot of your cards directory where your RAW files exist. They should be easy to identify because they are rather big ones. Convert screen snapshot to JPEG, upload it somewhere (imgur, picload or else) and link it here.

I used a card reader, I can see it i MLRawViewer but the files don't want to work in Magicraw
also thanks for helping out
btw its an INSIGNIA 3.0
RAWmagic is not supported here but banned. The reasons are explained here: http://www.magiclantern.fm/forum/index.php?topic=13335.0
Either use a supported tool or contact manufacturer.
@osacre:
What OS are you running?
Mac or PC?
I had no idea about magicraw, what other options do I have to go about it?
I have a OSX 10.9.5

Choose your flavour: http://www.magiclantern.fm/forum/index.php?board=54
You may start with MLVFS.
So I turned off the RAW Video (MLV) and just kept the RAW Video on and that seemed to work fine. What advantages are there to using MLV opposed to just raw files?

MLV (RAW) and RAW video are exclusive -> Not to be used the same time ...
Since you are on Mac...
Try either MLVFS, cr2hdr-r, RAW2DNG or MLRV...
alright so I'm using mlvfs and files do become dng but when I follow tutorials using mlv, i don't get my dng files to open up in premiere or resolve lite?
