Title: using live view on a laptop
Post by: [email protected] on May 12, 2015, 03:28:39 PM
Hi
I am having to give a short talk on ML to my camera club, Club Focus in Plymouth UK, and want to be able to show how to set White balance, iso shutter speed etc. via a projector and my laptop.

Is there a programme I can down load that will allow me to do this please?

You can email me at [email protected]

Regards
Tim

Connect projector and cam via HDMI and give it a try.

Hi Walter

Thanks
I tried this. The TV works fine but pc shows nothing. I might have to tweek some thing.   I am unfortunately unable to connect directly to the projector which is on the ceiling and the Hotel seem to have just put connections to the Pc's vidio out put. But will follow this up.

Tim

Nothing a ladder and 5m HDMI cable won't fix.
In case they won't let you do: Use another projector. Modern LED based projectors are easy to carry.
