Title: Export from After Effects as DNG Sequence?
Post by: ccarit3007 on May 03, 2015, 06:17:12 PM
I am shooting raw and use DaVinci Resolve. I import as all clips as DNG sequences to put a primary color correction, export as proxies, do complete edit in FCP 7, export as an XML then reconnect in Resolve to do a final color correction and export. I needed to add some special effects in After Effects for some specific clips, so I imported as DNG sequence, added the effects but am wondering what should I export as so no quality is lost and I can import into Resolve, make proxy, edit in FCP7, connect XML in Resolve then final export, as stated above. If I could just export as a DNG sequence from AE this would all work seamlessly, but I am aware this is not possible. Any ideas?

Try it with MLVFS > AE (via SmartImport2) > Resolve
