Title: Time Lapse on Blue Hour
Post by: vfero on March 30, 2015, 08:16:12 AM
Hello, i'm just trying to make time lapse with ML and it's great.

I'd like to make a sunset or sunrise but as my settings are:

- Mode M
- Intervalometer @ 5s
- 3 shots @ a time

It's OK for the day but when it's darker, exposures are longer than the interval...  :-\

Any idea?
Thanks a lot

Vince

Make the interval longer and only do 1 shot at a time (use dual ISO if needed for high DR scenes).

I like to do 40-45s interval with slowest shutter speed reaching 30s (aka 32 seconds) when it gets completely dark. Example: http://www.magiclantern.fm/forum/index.php?topic=12330
