Title: Transcodes from RawMagic missing 2 frames.
Post by: bowserlm on January 31, 2015, 01:04:18 AM
Has anyone else experienced transcodes from RawMagic missing a frame or two somewhere in the middle of the bundle?  I'm bringing my clips into Resolve to make proxies out of, and there are about 8 clips that have come in split as two because there are 2 frames missing somewhere in the middle of it.

Anyone have ideas what may be causing this to happen? Each of these clips are spanned .MLV files.

RAWMagic is not supported here. Please use a different converter.

I'm actually finding the same missing frame or 2 frames behavior when using other converters too. MlRawViewer and cr2hdr-r.

Any suggestions?

Any ideas what would cause a missing frame on transcode?

Post the output from mlv_dump -v

Instructions in case you don't know how to do that:
1. Download mlv_dump here (http://ml.g3gg0.de/modules/mlv_dump.zip/mlv_dump.zip)
2. open the Terminal
3. drag and drop the mlv_dump.osx file on the Terminal window
4. type " -v " (without the quotes but with the spaces)
5. drag and drop the MLV file
6. hit enter
