Title: Atomos + RAW DNG

is it possible to record the same raw file dng files that we record to the compact flash using a atomos device ?

i realise that you can record other formats using atomos devices, ie ProRes etc

actually i saw im aware but; am i getting the same kind of information at the DNG files, with the atomos formats ?

The data sent out of the HDMI port is 8bit RGB data that has already been de-bayered. So it is no longer RAW.

And the colors were probably already sub-sampled.

At what bitrate is the stream coming out of the 5d Mark III? In other words, how much Mbs is uncompressed/clean?
