Title: Merry Christmas everyone! First time shooting RAW with ML and my 5D3
Post by: ObsidianAsylum on December 25, 2014, 07:18:56 AM
Thanks so much to everyone in the ML community for helping me learn to get the most out of my 5D3!

This was my first RAW footage test. First time using MlRawViewer. First time using Resolve. I had to learn about DNGs, log space, LUTs... Now that I know I can do it, it's time to plan the next video!

Nice, beautiful picture.
The movement/shaking doesn't disturb, it's look more life for me.
I can not say about colour,  I use pc laptop on the journey... as I know the gamma from fcp also different than on win7.
Thanks for the picture, and as the video sing : Merry Christmas for you too...

What Audio workflow you using?
I use Pro Tools mainly. So in this case it's the Neumann 103's through a Yamaha 02R console into Pro Tools 11. Then I try to lock the picture as much as possible and pull any audio assets back into Pro Tools with the locked picture and do my DUB/mastering right in Pro Tools. The it's just a matter of importing the DUB into FCP X and rendering it out. I'd love to be able to slave FCP X to Tools for the DUB though.

p.s. I'm a composer/music producer by day :)
