Title: Canon 7D Raw with latest Nightly (2014Oct08.7D203)
Post by: carniolus on December 22, 2014, 07:58:42 AM

Canon 7D Raw footage. Testing Magic Lantern ver. Nightly.2014Oct08.7D203 on Canon 7D: http://builds.magiclantern.fm/#/
Original footage res. 1729x 972 and 2240x1200 (5x zoom on Live view) using 24-105 mm Canon Lens. With the last settings you can get 840 mm lenf from 105 (105mm x (1,6-crop) x5-live view). It blows my mind. With my 400 mm Sigma telephoto can I get unthinkable 3200 mm.  :)

It took me 32 GB for presented video. CF 64GB-600x speed.

No color grading when editing. I add a little clarity and sharpness.

5x crop mode doesn't mean that you get 5x, it depend of the crop size and is about 3x times

How many seconds you can save in 2240x1200?
With a 600x card?

Greeting

My 7D cam  shoot in RAW 1920x1080 50 seconds and fully turn off. It is normally? And 2240x1200 can save only 4 second.
